& a little more
I have read a lot of online bios and am usually left thinking,
“Yeah, but who is this person really?”
So here is a bit from the other resume…
I learned to sail as an adult and have since navigated the waters surrounding the United States. During this time I swam with a shark…accidentally and unknowingly- and am quite thankful for that(read panic).
12 years ago I left my job, moved to Montana and taught myself to telemark ski(having never skied before). The next year, I moved to Alta, UT and skied almost 100 consecutive days. Embarking on this adventure was one of the best decisions of my life.
Now, I happily snowplow alongside my children as they learn to ski.
If you talk with me, it is only a matter of time before I offer to give you a tour of the state of Maine, discuss my concept of Zen Travel, or use a Star Wars reference ( the original series, that is).
I can make chocolate chip cookies start to finish in just under 30 minutes.
Ever been to Orcas Island, WA? I am pretty convinced it is heaven on earth.
Some of my favorite memories are from leading wilderness sailing trips for teens up the coast of Maine.
I have been on a burning plane and yes, we kicked open the emergency door-wouldn’t you?
I am a reformed perfectionist and like this side of the fence much better.
